Explore the Saint-Charles River!

The Saint-Charles River is one of the most beautiful kayaking routes in the Montérégie region, and is now officially accredited by the Route Bleue!

Recognized by experts, it offers a safe and enjoyable paddling route all the way to Îles-de-Saint-Timothée Park. Beginners and experienced paddlers alike will find something to enjoy, with complete equipment, shuttle service, and safety supervision included.

Three ways to experience the Saint-Charles River:

  1. Saint-Charles River Linear Park: This 4.7 km linear route on the Saint-Charles River connects the Linear Park to the Notre-Dame-du-Sourire Promenade.
  2. Notre-Dame-du-Sourire Promenade Loop: Starting from the Notre-Dame-du-Sourire Promenade, this approximately 1.3 km loop invites you to paddle leisurely around the widening of the Saint-Charles River.
  3. Parent Street Dock Loop: This approximately 7 km loop allows you to explore the widening of the Saint-Charles River, upstream from Route 132. Starting from the Parent Street wharf, you can paddle peacefully between the small island and the Route 132 bridge.

If you wish to have the full experience, it is possible to rent equipment with Découverte Nature Kayak and take advantage of the shuttle service.
