Because our four-legged friends are family, it just makes sense to include them in our adventures!
Good news: in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, many attractions warmly welcome dogs—much to the delight of pet parents… and curious little noses!

Here are a few activity ideas and places to visit to make the most of the region with your loyal companion.

Let your dog run free and make furry friends at one of Valleyfield’s dog parks.

A few local rules to keep in mind:

  • Owners must supervise and remain in control of their dog at all times

  • Max two dogs per handler in the off-leash zone

  • No food or glass containers allowed

  • No throwing sticks, balls, or toys (unless they’re supplied by the park) when other dogs are around

  • No dogs in heat or showing signs of illness

  • Each dog may be accompanied by max two people

  • Dog handlers must be 14+ and able to control their dog

  • Children under 12 are not allowed in the dog exercise area
