Inspired by silent cinema and flirting with Grand Guignol and melodrama, this wordless adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic sweeps us away with humor and passion in a relentless race for power.

In a fast-paced and blood-soaked version of the cursed couple’s misfortunes, Macbeth Muet deconstructs Shakespeare’s tragedy through visceral theatre, using bodies, objects, and fake blood in a world devoid of morality, where human lives are as disposable as Styrofoam cups. Backed by a rich and surprising soundtrack, the performer-puppeteers deliver a breathtaking choreography.

Blending physical performance and object theatre, this original take on the play invites audiences to discover or rediscover the work.

Followed by a dialogue epilogue.
