Remous remis explores the dynamics of sibling relationships. Sharing, closeness, collaboration, and exchange alternate with disagreements, stubbornness, and compromise as conflicts gradually find resolution.
These relational themes take shape through their games, the stories they tell each other, and the one they share with us. With only a few everyday objects and their bodies at their disposal, all within an ’80s-inspired aesthetic, they dance, play, mime, and sometimes even carry movement into acrobatics to bring their games to life.
A hanging lamp is the show’s only fixed element. The blanket, the chair, and the rolls sometimes become pieces of scenery, sometimes props, constantly transforming according to the children’s imagination.
