Located between Nicholson and Saint-Thomas streets, in the heart of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield's historic downtown, the Market Promenade is a vibrant new pedestrian space that fosters discovery, social interaction, and commercial activity. This pilot project is transforming the area into a welcoming place to stroll, shop, and soak up the downtown atmosphere.
Free Activities All Summer Long
Until September 13, the Market Promenade offers a diverse and free program: street entertainment, cultural activities, musical performances, and initiatives from local businesses. Quizzes, yoga, outdoor cardio boxing, country dance lessons, and salsa classes will also liven up the evenings.
More new features will be added throughout the summer, making this new space a dynamic, welcoming, and accessible gathering place for everyone.
