Les Charbonniers de l’enfer
Time passes, and he takes his time,” said a song. And time has passed… After more than thirty years of joyfully working hard here and elsewhere on the burning embers of Quebec’s traditional repertoire,
30 years of gathering and sharing;
30 years of singing without ever losing heart to the rhythm of the foot;
30 years of camaraderie in unison or harmony;
30 years of getting along well and sometimes waiting for each other.
After all these joyful times and a great sorrow marked by the loss of their dear Jean-Claude Rossignolet des bois, why not have some fun and, at the same time, bring joy to others?
Thus, Michel Bordeleau, Michel Faubert, André Marchand, and Normand Miron take up the great roads they have traveled so much. A final tour of their world, offering one last chance to see on stage, in a show directed by the brilliant Émile Proulx-Cloutier, four charcoal workers singing… Les Charbonniers de l’enfer!
