Valspec - Mariana Mazza - Foie gras

For her third show, Foie Gras, Mariana Mazza decides to speak with both her head and her heart… for a change.

In this very personal one-woman show, the girl who grew up in Montréal-Nord, now a bourgeois woman living in Saint-Lambert with her poodles and unsold paintings, is as brilliant as she is hilarious.

Used to saying things just to make people laugh, this time she wants to go further and come out to the audience: she’s emotional and vulnerable. The chihuahua on Red Bull is officially replaced by a tank with a porcelain heart.

As she so aptly puts it: “I’m the best, damn it!”

Yes, Mariana has changed. But how much?
